Since we work in the mission office we were curious about the Church meeting houses in Lilongwe, Malawi. We got to the Kauma chapel for church on Sunday Morning. The Kauma 1st and 2nd branches meet here at different times.
One of the children's classes was held outside.
And of course, afterwards, there were more baptisms. This man being baptized will be the new ambassador to China from Malawi.
The next place we found was the Lilongwe branch building. It had a couple of guards on the property.
It also was a nice home that had been converted to a meeting house.
The third one was a little harder to find as it was out on the north end of town. We did find the signs and follow them to the Kalambo Branch building.
It was a little humbler but still a nice atmosphere for worship on a Sunday.
We can now sort of visualize the places that the missionaries are always talking about in this part of Malawi.
