This is a quote from "Hillel the Elder" from the first century. (I thought I was so original!)

Departing Provo

We attended the Provo Temple before we left.

We put the departure tag on the door room.  I found the elevator and even there you must use your pass ID card to get it moving.

This is us with Gerry and Paul Yamashita from home.  They are headed to Toyko to serve in a mission office there.  Kristi worked with Gerry in the Oakland Temple.  You will never find nicer people.

We had lunch and checked out the new home of Marilyn and Harvey Hulme.  They had moved from Clayton about six years ago.  Marilyn was Kristi's walking partner so you know I miss having her around.  Harvey was our accountant for many years.  He is the picture of health since a liver transplant two months ago.

We spent Friday night at Josh and Kim's again before heading out.  Josh took me for a ride in his show truck now it is finished and judged.  It is just a big expensive toy that he will enter in the Dallas show.

Grandkids and a pool party with their friends, and then we headed to the airport Saturday morning.

We are finally off to see what is ahead.
